 Thomas Concrete is one the largest ready mix concrete producers in Georgia, but its origin and operations stretch miles beyond. In March of 1985, AB Fardig Betong of Sweden purchased a Georgia concrete company and its three plants. Thomas Concrete was established. Through acquisitions of other companies and the construction of additional plants, it grew, as did the demands for concrete in this growing market. Expansion plans in the mid 90’s took Thomas Concrete into North and South Carolina. With plants in major cities from Charlotte to Raleigh in North Carolina, from Greenville to Anderson in South Carolina, and from Dahlonega to Cleveland in Georgia, Thomas Concrete is making its presence known. In less than twenty years it has grown from three plants to forty-two in three states. We attribute this growth to our philosophy of second to none quality and customer service as well as the dedication of all our employees to this philosophy.
