In March, Thomas Concrete of Carolina opened its sixth plant in the area. The Knightdale Plant will service the northeast side of Wake County and help service downtown Raleigh. Plant Manager Daniel Rusnak and Salesman Jim Morton are looking forward to the challenges of the new plant and the opportunities that it brings.
Recently Raleigh became the 49th most populous city in the United States, passing Tampa, Florida and Wichita, Kansas. Raleigh’s growth rate in 2007 was 4.17 percent, surpassing expectations.
